About IDDCR

Overview

IDDCRs inception was in April 2007 when LAXAI established its presence in India as LAXAI AVANTI Life Sciences to focus on Drug Discovery Solutions. In order to have a reinforced focus and commitment on the education, IDDCR was created as separate legal entity in April of 2010.

India is an emerging hub for collaborative and outsourced Bio-Pharma R&D. With adequate regulatory protection of intellectual property, India is well positioned to attract large pharmaceutical companies. In addition, the Indian CRO market is expected to grow (CAGR of ~30%) twice as fast as the global CRO industry over the next 3 years. This growth is creating an employment gap between industry expectations and the talent from academia. To goal of IDDCR is to bridge this gap with industry driven knowledge couples with practical orientation.
